I was putting together new pc (Asus Crosshair III Formula, AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 Black Edition 3.40GHz, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800, 2 x 500GB SATA) with Windows 7 64bit installation. However installation after loading files crashes with BSOD ==>> STOP: 0x0000007E. I tried also to install Ubuntu on these disks but ene up with more or less similar outcome with numerous errors of 0x000... format.
I swapped HDD around no change, changed graphic card as some suggested there may be issue with card, but made no difference. Now it seems that issue could be between motherboard or memory. I had no chance to test memory as by old machine is DDR2, but another set of memory is on the way so I should be able to determinate what is causing problem.
In mean time did any other faced same/similar issue? What you think can be the problem?
