I received a Windows 7 laptop to fix and for some reason it boots to the Windows 7 setup were you select your region, time and keyboard layout. Basically it looks like they have started to install Windows 7 but never completed it.
Someone in the family has tried to fix a virus problem but attempted a factory restore or something similar.
Is there anyway to revert back to the position they were in before doing this installation? I haven't check to see if it's a full factory restore but the reason I am asking is the laptop contains business software which someone has to be called out to install it which costs a fortune to do and the fools never backed up their work on this software in a few months.
