Hi guys it's been a while.
I've got my windows 7 home edition dvd.
My computer is as follows:
3hd: 1 x 250gb ssd
1 x 64gb ssd
1 x 1tb mechanical
2 optical drives:
1 x dvdr
1 x bdr
all 5 drives above are sata interface
my mobo is a z77-ds3h
I put osx on the 64gb
i put linux on the 250gb
and the 1tb i erased, formatted to a ms dos partition table.
Now here's the weird part:
i put in my installation win 7 dvd and can't install onto the 1tb hd. Errors such as can't install onto HD due to can't create partition etc etc. I even loaded ahci drivers from usb to no avail and get error like 8x03939c or something like that.
I remove all HD except the 1tb and install: the windows setup can't even find the HD lol.. Even tho it's recognised in bios.
I remove now the BDR and only have this in my system: the DVDR and the 1tb hd, and viola, it works windows install recognises and can install into the HD.
Can anyone tell me wtf is going on with my computer?!?!?
cheers.
also, does anyone know the colour of a pioneer BDR on the back? anyone out there with a pioneer BDR pls could you look at the back (where the sata + power connecters are) of your BDR drive? because mine is shiny black plastic, i'm wondering if this is normal.
(Yes, you know what i'm thinking, i'm thinking that taking out the BDR drive somehow solved all my problems so maybe something is wrong with my BDR drive)
