Windows 7 installer.

I installed windows 7 on my old build through an installer, i need to reformat and want windows 7 but now when i go to microsoft site it just downloads with with something called download manager and asked me to put it on disk, i dont want it on disk i want the installer like i had last time.

installer? i have no idea what that was. :confused:

just download the iso and burn it to dvd yourself.

I'm afraid that's impossible.

You will have to burn the ISO and boot from the disc.

Then it will let you format and install a Windows 7 from fresh.

You can install Windows 7 from a USB stick if you don't fancy wasting a DVD. Have a quick Google for a guide if want to do that. Obviously you'll need a stick big enough though. Mine was a 4GB one. I'm not sure if you can go smaller than that (again have a quick check with a Google search).
