Windows 7 key identifier?

Hi

I have a legit windows 7 key however i have no idea what sku it is for, is there any software or any way to find out?

All i know is it is not windows 7 64 bit professional, it MAY be 64bit home premium but i do not want to download and burn the iso wasting time, bandwidth and a disk if it isnt going to work.

Are there any disk images i can use which will work with ANY LEGITIMATE 64bit keys? i was told that there is one but i cant find it

finally, is there anyway i can convert my windows 7 64bit professional install to a version which my key will work with without blapping and reinstalling, i am currently on my free 30day evaluation period and if i can get away without a reinstall i will do

ahh ok, mine must be an upgrade disk then as it does not have those options.

thanks marc, i will have a go at editing my iso then

so will it automatically choose the right one by me putting in my key (as i do not know what my key is) or will it be trial and error till i get it right.

lol suspicious maybe but it is a legit key, if not i would just get a crack off somewhere and be done with it.

PS the irony... a capo accusing a gangster of possibly breaking the law

thanks for your help guys i used eicfg_removal_utility.zip on my windows professional which failed my key and got it right on my next attempt. My key is for home premium

so i now have Win 7 professional on my media PC and home premium on my gaming rig.

Am not sure it makes much difference but i guess i will look into it and see if i should swap them around.

PS as an aside, i am currenlty without internet till the 17th as am in middle of changing providers. BOY what a pain in the backside setting up a pc without internet.!!!
