I have a few machines i need to sort out but i have mixed up the installation media. Whats the best software for checking which code belongs to which PC? there is literally loads when you check but i guess most are probably spyware or virus'

boot the machines and go to the system info;
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System

or

right click on computer and go to properties
many ways to get to the info

keys at the bottom of the window

I can see the ID but the sticker i have has the product key and not the ID.

Thats product Id, key is encrypted.
