We got given our KMS key in the middle of last week and access to Windows 7 last Friday.
We run a Server 2008 KMS host. I have found out that Server 2008 KMS hosts cannot activate Windows 7 keys just yet. Windows 2003 KMS hosts had a fix rolled out today that allow them to do this, but so far, nothing for 2008.
So - if you're thinking of migrating - leave it for now.
On the plus side - loving Windows 7. A lot faster for most of the stuff I do day to day. Specifically, visual studio, sql server management and other dev stuff. I'm impressed. Still havn't got around to turning UAC off/down though - I hate that
