Windows 7 makes the beep when installing new hardware installs every time i start windows

Everytime i start windows it make the noise when new hardware is found....there is nothing new that installs....is there anyway i can find out why and what its trying to install....thanks

Do you have a USB hub in your monitor or anywhere else in your machine?

no...ive just been thinking its started to happed since i removed the motherboard drivers for my 6gb sata controller and installed the original windows one..ahci controller...this is what i done and its started happening since then.

Check device manager and see if everything is installed or if unknown devices are showing up.

yes everything is installed no unknown devices....i was wondering is there is anything like a event manager or something for this problem.

Yeah there is an event viewer. Its in Administrative tools in the control panel.

Could you do a system restore to before you changed the drivers and see if that helps?

lol well one of the options for ssd tweaking is to turn system restore off lol...dont know why so no sorry ...ill go check the event viewer out...thanks

Win+R then type 'eventvwr' will get you there quicker.

i have a lot of errors and warnings in there .....i think im best doing a reinstall of windows....to be honest...was hoping to sort it out without that but spent a day on it and couldve had it done by now....lol
