Windows 7 network help

Hi,

Im having a problem with an install of windows 7 that i was previously having with xp as well.

Most times i boot the pc, when it logs into windows my network connection is not working and i cannot access the internet until i disable it, then re-enable it again, after which it works fine.

Could anyone help point to a solution for this?
as its getting pretty annoying lol

For info, im not using seperate accounts, jsut logging on the main account every time.
There is also no anti virus running and im using the default windows firewall

Thanks Datamonkey and gurusan,

I live in a shared student house with 3 others, 2 of which are heavy torrenters, so this is probably the case.

Also i cannot change to the other network port as the p6t se only has the one.

If its driver related im hoping the release of the RC win 7 will bring some changes and at least spur realtek into making a better driver.
