Windows 7 Newb

Hey all,

Since the release of the Windows 7 beta etc. I've been considering giving it ago - but never got round to it in the end I've sort of kept my head out of any news to do with Windows 7.

Therefore - Is there anyone that would care to explain what advantages there are of going for Windows 7 (From Vista)?

Is it faster? Better for gaming? Easier to use?

Are there many compatability issues?

Can anyone else comment on the compatability issues?
This was the worst thing I found when upgrading last time - things have smoothed over now that Vista has been around for a while - but is it going to be the same with Windows 7?
