Windows 7 OEM Issues.

Bought this with the build i got but the pc wont read the disk... It will read my non legit copy of windows but not this one... Anyone got any ideas as to why and how to rectify the situation?

(I would use the dodgy copy i have permanently but i bought this one so i didn't have to use it on a new system.)

Contact customer support and send it back. Maybe a faulty disk. Have you tried cleaning it may have dust or fingerprint on.

OCuk Customer support or windows? I'll clean the disk when i get home and have another go.

Does it read in another machine? Do other disks read in that one?

If purchased from OcUK then contact customer support you can do it here via the forums

He already stated his non genuine copy can be read.

Turns out it was just the drivers for the dvd drive needed updating....
