Windows 7 oem media

I have just bought a laptop from dell and it came with no disks at all, just pre installed windows and the usual other stuff

Im going to rebuild it and have the cd key via jellybean keyfinder. Will Win 7 pro install fine with this oem key?

I dont want to be left with a laptop without windows!

Assuming the current operating system is Win 7 Pro then you should be ok.

If not you can download a copy from digital river.
 
Yep, os is win 7 pro. I take it the dell warranty isnt void by re-installing / formatting?

The wifi stopped working and a network controller comed up in device man, searching windows update for drivers doesnt do anything either. I did remove some dell wifi manager software but it looked like a manager rather that the actual driver.

Either way, ill rebuild because theres an 8gb system recovery partition i cant get rid of (only 128gb ssd)
 
Interesting - when i remove the panel on the back of the laptop the windows 7 pro key product key is different to the oem key jellybean finds?!
