windows 7 oem

Hi im building a pc for a friend and will be installing windows 7 homw 64.

what is meant by oem , i know what it means when buying hardware, i thought there was only a retail and upgrade pack?

OEM is tied to your motherboard, in other words, you can only install it on one system. I would have spent the few extra £, and gone retail. Your hardware will be ok.
