Needing a new version of windows to install when i get my SSD at xmas, after reading some reviews i read that you can only do 1 install with an OEM cd and if you do something like upgrade the mobo or processor then you need to buy another CD again, just wondering if this is true?

Also when i've installed windows to my new SSD, it's fine to just go into my old hard drive and delete the windows folder yes?

Thanks :D

Correct, OEM copies will be tied to the motherboard. It's usually worth paying slightly more for a retail copy so you can use it again in the future. Also once you're happy with your installation to the SSD it should be fine to just remove the old windows folder.
