Windows 7 on Bootcamp

Just in case anybody wondered it appears to be working absoluteley fine on my bog standard white Macbook with only 1gb of ram

Yeah, all the details are up full. The transparency etc, it's using the X3100 integrated graphics chip as well. I was surprised Aero works as well as it does on this machine.

Only thing I've found with Windows 7 is that the microphone doesn't work, really annoying as I want to use it!

Yeah I found that too, the webcam is perfect, I found the quality in Windows Live Messenger to be better than Skype, but when you try to make a regular call using the microphone it just seems to have a really low input volume, even when you turn the slider all the way up to full.

I downloaded a new driver from realtak for windows 7 last night in hope of sorting out the mic issue.

It did!!!!!!

My advice is to go and find win7 drivers for your audio chipset.

That was on my PC btw, not sure what driver Mabooks use, but i bet its the same root issue.
