Ok, so I have windows 7 on my MacBook using bootcamp.

I have the aluminium MacBook that cane out in November ( the 1st one) and it works fine but it's seriously gimped. Sound needs drivers and the trackpad doesn't work right (ok web using a mouse though.) where can I get all the drivers for my mac for windows 7?

Using the disks that came with the mac don't work and have been searching on the web for a while , but isn't really coming up with anything.

Need help guys!! I'm in the navy and want to play games to eliminate my boredom lol

Im not at all surprised.

Seeing as Windows 7 hasn't been released yet (so I suppose your using the open beta?) so Apple hasn't released any boot camp drivers for it yet although they are probably working on them.

You could give the XP/Vista Apple bootcamp drivers ago but personally I can't confirm whether or not they area compatible with Windows 7. :o

I'll gve the vista bootcamp drivers a go - got a link for them all mate?

Some of the Apple supplied Vista drivers work (on the retail Leopard DVD in my case), others don't. The installer didn't work, but loading the individual drivers works for most of them. I've got everything important working on my 2006 MBP, although Win7 is still convinced that I've got a Tosh laptop and tries to download a TPM driver every few days.

Have you gone 32bit or 64bit?

I installed Windows 7 RC 32bit on my Mac mini and the boot camp drivers installed fine, I updated the graphics drivers manually, Windows Update had a couple of minor driver updates and it's all running great :)

Just in case any of you wondered, I had Windows 7 on this old Macbook that I'm using and everything worked perfectly using the drivers contained on the leopard disk. Graphics card, sound card, microphone, webcam and trackpad. Even the right clicking by placing two fingers on the pad worked! :)
