i've put windows 7 on a boot camp partition of my SL macbook... from the drivers folder (can't install bootcamp properly as it says im not allowed) - i have installed the touchpad drivers...

any idea how to get it to allow 2-finger taps for right click and scrolling etc?

dunno why it doesn't let me install properly, i installed the audio driver and everything else just works anyway

oh, would also like it to acknowledge my apple keyboard but despite
putting on the drivers it still does a " as @ and vice versa...

any ideas?

With mine I simply installed bootcamp drivers off of the Leopard disk. After I did that everything worked fine, including the keyboard and two finger touchpad gestures. Have you got the bootcamp icon running in the systray in Windows?

no? i couldn't get it to install it just says x64 is not supported on this model or something like that... so i just went through and installed the relevant drivers myself...

i think its the same problem as with the leopard BC stuff, they didn't support the 64 bit operating system on macbooks and imacs only the "pro" models? no?

anyway, what about the keyboard? i installed the apple keyboard driver but it is still set to standard uk layout so the " and @ are switched?
