Hi all,
I have a fresh install of Windows 7, and this is a problem I've encountered. I get the usual security prompt asking me if I want to open/run a file, but the spinning cursor remains indefinitely meaning I cannot click on OK. The window hasn't actually crashed as per Task Manager, and the only way I can close it is by ending the task in task manager as all of the buttons in the security prompt window are non-responsive. I don't get a message telling me that this window has stopped responding, hence I don't think the process has actually crashed. The only way I can currently run/open things is by right clicking and select run as administrator, since this bypasses the security prompt.
Does anyone know what might be wrong here and how to fix it?
Many thanks,
Michael.
