Did a clean re-install of Windows 7 (64-bit) with all important updates. There are 62 "optional updates", even by googling the KB number and looking at the MS site, there is simply not enough information on many of them to know what on earth they are or if they are needed at all. I only have a small SSD on this machine and don't want to waste any more space on it.
Is there any good reason to take up precious SSD space with so many "optional" Windows updates?
I am going to go without them this time unless there is a good reason not to, Windows already takes up far too much space as it is, and seems to have so many superfluous things in it already and seems to grow unreasonably over time.
