Windows 7 or 8?

Hi,

My new PC build is coming soon and I was just wondering whats better to use?

I have used Windows 7 64-bit for a while and avoided Windows 8 because I heard a lot of bad stuff about it.

Is it worth going up to Windows 8 now or sticking with 64-bit Windows 7?
