windows 7 or not?

i currently have a dell mini 10v laptop running XP, would it be worth installing windows 7 32bit onto it?

specs

CPU - Atom N270 @ 1.6GHz
RAM - 2GB
HDD - 80GB kingston SSD
intergrated intel GPU

windows advisary says windows 7 will work + official drivers are available.

Yup. Works with 1GB of memory, so 2 is plenty. SSD will also help.

Depends what you mean by 'worth'. I don't think it will gain you much apart from a sexier looking OS. It'll probably perform a bit worse than XP does on that hardware and it may shorten battery life a smidge. If you really like Win7 though, there's no big reason not to do it.

It runs as well as XP. Some say it runs better than XP. Not 100% sure about how great the 3D task switching pane looks, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

It looks good, yes, but also runs a lot better tbh. Has better management controls and, well, it's 7 years more up to date.
