Hi guys.

My Toshiba laptop is really starting to wind me up.

After the card reader's inability to read cards now Windows has decided for no reason to take the michael.

Whatever I do, Windows just won't boot. No safe mode, no recovery, no normal start up. I can't even get into my BIOS to boot from disc.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Cheers

Ok, when it says starting Windows there's no pretty bubbles or whatever, it just stays on that screen. Same for Windows is loading files, there's no hard drive activity either.

I disabled the flash screen so that the machine would boot faster, but no matter what buttons I press the BIOS just doesn't appear.

Yeah, that loads. But after pressing ANY option such as safe mode, or repair, or last known etc etc it just hangs and the activity light stops flashing.

I don't have a caddy and I wouldn't want to as the laptop is still within warranty. I can't really afford to be without it either, I feel like throwing it out of the window mind you!

The windows disc I have isn't the recovery disc, but I assume I can use it to repair the installation. As far as getting the boot order up is concerned, nothing I try brings it up.

The only things that appear are the OS choosing option and start windows normally/launch startup repair.

Also, there must be a way to get the BIOS back up. But I've tried every *** key, Del, Esc etc etc but is there perhaps another key or combo I could try?
