Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit ISO

I'm pretty sure you can download an official iso from the Microsoft website. It's a trial for 30 days but you can then input your key and it will cease being a trial and become the full version.

He's going to get the key before he formats the PC.

Yep. I just want to reformat for a few reasons:

iTunes has messed up and apparently only a reformat will fix it.

Media Centre is running really slow for an odd reason and can't find a fix.

---

I've just downloaded a program to get my CD-Key and it says this:

Product ID: [i won't post the number] match to CD Key data
CD Key: BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBBB

Not quite sure what that means. I originally got this windows through MSDN during my time at University.

[EDIT] Tried it with 3 different keyfinders and none have found it.

[EDIT] Found it. Checked back through my old emails.

For what its worth I had to sort my sons laptop out on Sun - I downloaded x84 image from the location you got yours but when I put the disc in it never asked me to put the key in it just loaded a few files and then asked me to select what I wanted to do recover from a previous point or install Win again the image was just over 3G in size. I did expect it to ask for a Key but it never did.

By the way I was recovering it as there was no boot found -

The product key isn't required for installation, however it is required for activation. Once the grace period ends, you'll be prompted to activate Windows, at which point you will be prompted for the key. Microsoft made this change with Vista (and I believe Windows XP SP3 allows for installation without providing a key).
