I can get either of these for free ( legally )

Which would I want for home use ?

Not Enterprise as it needs access to a KMS server. Pro is more than adequate

Unless he is given the Multiple Activation Key.

But I can't see anyone needing the Enterprise stuff for a home computer. So I would just go Pro for ease - be dubious for a company to hand out the MAK for a home computer.

dunno, our licence at work includes 1 install each for home use

Wait... is "home use" really "working from home use" or "personal use at home"?

Hardly anything in it, I am just curious!

If you can legally use Enterprise at home and can get access to either the MAK or KMS then go Enterprise. Otherwise Pro as suggested.

We use Enterprise at work, however the "Home Use Program" gives each of our users (if they want it) a copy of Pro.
Didn't think MS rolled out Enterprise to any form of home user.

My manager has also given me our MAK key for use at home

If you can do it I can't see why you wouldn't just go with Enterprise i.e. Ultimate. Bitlocker to go enough of an incentive?
