Windows 7 problem or DVD driver?

what do you mean by ISO format disks?
What version of windows are you running?
have you burnt the ISO's to DVD/CD?

Please much needed information more!

DVD drives cannot read within ISO files. ISO files are simply containers for disc based data.

You can either mount the ISO file using software such as Virtual CloneDrive. Or you need to burn the ISO to a disc using a proper disc image burner such as ImgBurn.

Just tried in a pc at work and works fine, i believe its .uhf?? could be wrong. Works fine in all standalone dvd players and the pc at work just not the home pc.

Well it is for the question given... :)

OP, do other discs work? What content is on it? Try the Microsoft 'upper filters fix'

Fixed. Purchased a new DVD drive. It was reading other discs just not copies of a particular file type. Really annoying but drive was 8 years old and new one works like a dream.

Ahh I see what the problem was now.

Your old DVD player didn't support the file system that was used to burn the discs.

That '.' infront of iso made me think you were referring to a disc image file. ISO is a file system, .iso is a file type. Very easily confusing.
