i recently replaced my old e8600 with a I5-2500k

whenever i leave my desk i always go to the start menu and click "Switch User" so nobody can use my pc while im not there

on my old system it would take about 2 seconds to log out and in this way but for some reason its been taking about 25 seconds each time since the upgrade

here is a video of how long it takes

my full system spec is
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
Intel Core I5-2500k
HIS iCooler V ATI Radeon HD 5850
G.Skill RipJawX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Gigabyte P67A-UD4
Corsair HX 850W Psu
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA
300gig Maxtor SATA

any ideas what could be causing this? i installed norton internet security too as it came with the motherboard, do you think this could be slowing things down?

thanks for the quick reply mate :)
i have all the latest drivers and software, ill have a go at removing nortons because im pretty sure that it was ok just before i installed it

just tried Win + L and ill be using that from now on :D
