Windows 7 Problem

So Im just putting W7 on a new laptop hard drive that I've just got, but the problem is that it does not recognise my ATI Mobility Radeon X600, all it detects it as is a standard adaptor.

I've tried the latest Catalyst Install Manager but it wont install the card because it doesn't pick it up for some reason.

I'm stumped as to what to do next.

Can anyone help?

CIM won't recognise it because Mobility Radeon drivers need to be installed from the laptop maker's site: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/737-28041SupportforATIMobility.aspx

I got it sorted in the end, just ran Windows update after install and it recognised the card.

Such a simple solution, it was the one thing I didn't try.
