Windows 7 problems , dont see start menu or task menu bar ?

Just setting my HTPC build up to my projector and when displayin the image, its not showing the windows start menu or task menu bar ?

Any ideas on how to put this right, please ?

sure the projector is showing the full image and not cut the bottom off?
is it set to primary display port?

Well the picture on my screen isnt full screen yet so there is know way it just overspilling the sides of the screen

Will have another play later

Also in display settings make sure its set to mirror your main display.

On TV's this is caused by, iirc, the TV being set to 'overscan'. A process whereby the edge of the picture is 'pushed' out slightly further than the actual screen size to avoid the possibility of 'tearing' at the pictures edge. Turning overscan off on my TV solved my issue of only being able to see half the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and only half of the icons that were on the left edge. So if your projector has a similar option in its on screen menu try this.
