Windows 7 RC download question

This question may well have been asked before but.........

I am building a new PC from scratch and to save buying an OS (for the time being to help my budget) would it be possible to download Windows 7 RC onto my laptop, burn to a disc or iso image and install on my new PC?

When Win 7 is launched I presume you would have an option to upgrade to a full version or pay for a licence or whatever which by then my bank balance will have recovered!

Yep, that won't be a problem. You will have to reload when you purchase the full version as you are running RC.

The RC should last while March from what we have been told.

As stated above, if you are going to then buy Windows 7... A fresh install would be my choice.

Yes you can absolutely download Windows 7 RC and use it on your new machine! You will not be able to upgrade, however, from Win 7 RC to the GA. At that time, you would need to purchase a full license.
