There's something I've noticed on a few Windows 7 computers. I think it might be something that happens on Vista too.
On XP, I press delete and the files go with no fuss to the recycle bin. With large files or large numbers of files, I've seen a progress bar briefly.
But on Windows 7, it's as if there are now definite stages to the process, like 'preparing to recycle', and it just can take an irritatingly long time. It's one thing putting me off W7.
Is there a reason why it's like this?
