Hi Lads,

I've just started running Windows 7 x64 and have installed the latest 9.10 Catalyst drivers for my 4870.

The thing is, I usually have a resolution of 1280x720, but since Windows 7 unless I choose the highest possible resolution for my monitor (in this case being 1680x1050) then the image just wont fit the whole screen.

This happens for all resolutions I choose, they just wont fit the screen and am left with the black margins all around unless I choose the highest possible resolution.

Any ideas, really appreciated?

There is usually an option on the graphics card's settings (I've only done this for nvidia + intel) that lets you choose to stretch the image across the screen.

However I would recommend setting the screen resolution to the native resolution of the screen, and then turn the DPI up (search for dpi on the control panel) - this will stop it from looking blurry
