Windows 7 screen flickering?

I've just installed Windows 7 on my HTPC, and every second or so, the screen flickers from the Windows desktop to a black screen, and nothing I change seems to have any effect on this, i.e. resolution, refresh rates, etc!

I'm connecting via HDMI from an Asus Nforce 730i/9300 motherboard to a Sony HDMI AV amp, passing through to a 50" Samsung plasma.

I didn't have this problem with XP, so any advice would be much appreciated, cheers.

I've tried a couple of different Nforce drivers, but they didn't make any difference, I'll have a look and see if there's some older ones kicking about.

Not tried that, bit awkward disconnecting everything downstairs and reconnecting it to my monitor upstairs, but will give it a go tomorrow.

It was yesterday morning when running XP, but I'm going to have a play around tonight.

I uninstalled the Windows 7 Nforce driver, and did a forced manual install of the latest Vista Nforce driver instead, seems to have fixed it, strange! :confused:
