Any ideas guys?
I'm trying to install Windows 7, as soon as it does it's "loading files" bit succesfully, then the

Starting Windows

comes up in the nice new font, it comes up with a BSOD saying

BAD_POOL_HEADER

STOP: 0X00000019

Google is showing lots of results for XP and Vista, cant see any for 7 though :(

well, i managed to install it on a different hard drive - maybe the last one was dodgy

BUt now, after it restarts itself, it does the "Starting Windows" bit, and then goes into a restart loop

It's driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know my USB modem (ye-oldy SpeedTouch 330) causes BSOD on start-up, so maybe check any USB devices you have plugged in?

i got a bsod trying to upgrade from vista during install
w7 install wouldnt resume, it was stuck in a restart loop

had to boot from dvd and install a fresh copy over it to progress
