I have to say I am rather looking forward to getting this and my nice shiny new SSD :)
If it arrives tomorrow however I doubt I will get much time to do anything as I have got to go see my GF 2moz... Maybe she can come round my house and watch me re-build my PC and show off my mad techy skills. I'm sure that will impress her :p

Luckily I've got the rest of the week off due to having loads of payed holiday left and not very long left on my contract.

Can't wait to be able t get rid of bloody Vista and get W7 on my not so shiny but black and menacing SSD.
 
in my other online store and already been picked up today and it on the way to my home via Royal Mail 12noon Special delivery and expect to be 22nd Oct so that tomorrow (already ordered 2 of Win 7 HP full version retail). it wont affect on special delivery if the postal goes strike only is the standard mail like 1st and 2nd class or oversea but still dont affect with special or recorded delivery as it will be delivery in time.

Doh, W7 Ultimate Retail has gone up by just under £5 big ones since Slack posted that... this was only posted a few hours a go?
 
My order was showing as completed yesterday, does that mean it will be here today? as i used the DPD next day free shipping option.

Doubt it, all W7 orders are being shipped today, did you get your order dispatched email? If not I'd assume it will go out today for delivery tomorrow.

I've just ordered my copy, even though it's £5 more than stated above :) Was gonna wait til its more supported, but the price will go up at the end of the year I heard, so what the hell!

Needless to say I ordered it from ocuk!
 
You have to give the devil it's due sometimes and on the is occasion Microsoft deserve it. £66 for a full retail copy of Windows 7 Home Premium? I can't remember the last time a Microsoft OS was ever that cheap even OEM copies of Vista were more expensive.

I pre ordered my copy back in September as yet I haven't received a despatch notice.

My copy went away too... now 3 days of waiting for international delivery, while keeping my fingers crossed it arrives on Friday not Monday :D

And yes, the prices which are now offered are really bargain, for retail OS. At my location (Poland) prices now are about 160 pounds for Home Premium retail :)

It will impress her more if you explain what each thing is and will almost certainly have her drooling if you explain why you are overclocking by trying to max out the FSB and maintain a lower voltage throughout the process.

Then you will be sure to amaze her.
