windows 7, sound

ive just dwnloaded windows 7.
i seem to be having problems with
my sound, everytime i play a cd
its very crackly, im using realtek hd drivers
any advice on a dif driver wud be grateful,

You just downloaded Windows 7? I thought it was available on dvd form only?!

Try some different drivers they should be available from your computers manufacturer.

i having trouble with sound and wondered whats

I may be having the same problem you have, are you using headphones?
Here's a screenshot of the audio thing, when playing a song via itunes it's playing twice, once to the headphones, once being labelled itunes.
I guess the screenshot makes more sense, anyone?

Thats not being played twice its just so you can mix levels between programs :/
