Windows 7 start menu and short cuts

Hi Guys..

any idea why you cant add shortcuts of network drives to the start menu on windows 7?

it works fine with shortcuts of physical drives just not network drives.

i created the shortcuts to desktop first.

Yes you can.

Works fine for me. Just drag and drop the network PC into the start menu... voila.
