I have been running W7 RTM for the last week in 30-day mode until my disk comes, it worked perfectly until this weekend. The said machine had been turned off from Friday until Monday morning, Upon starting this morning I was welcomed with 2 blue screens before it decided to let me into Windows.
Anyway getting to the point, a strange stuttering happens in some situations, situation 1: Playing any video or music file, seeking causes a sound stutter as well as volume changing causes the music/video to slow down and make the sound stutter. Situation 2: In Fallout 3, making a sudden mouse movement causes the game to freeze for 2 to 3 seconds while repeating the the sounds made before the movement making it pretty unplayable.
Made sure all drivers are up to date, virus/spyware scans done etc. Quite stumped right now, hoping to not have to do a reinstall
