Windows 7 theme problem

Hello, recently, my computer asked me if i'd like to change theme back to 'windows basic' due to high usage of memory. I clicked yes however i encountered problem with font(?) being massive! Have a look at this:

Can this be solved?

P.S sorry for the massive picture cant resize it on paint because of this

Can't even navigate through control panel due to all folders being like this. Can this be done through shortcuts or perhaps a bat file?

Starting in safe mode causes same problem.

To last reply about the reg edit - After a while of trying to figure out how to click on merge because it happens when I right click too I finally got it with help of a friend and after restart nothing changed

Anything else I could try? Should I just do a system restore?

Doing system restore seems to have fixed it.
