Scheduled for release in 2009.....

I dont know what the chances are of it being released on time... but if it is, have you gotten good value from Vista?

Im happy with it.

It saddens me that Vista will likely be known by those who never owned it to be "Another Windows me" which in my opinion could not be further from the truth.

Sure it wasn't the EVOLUTION I expected.. more of a sidestep, but it sure is better than XP :)

People seem to forget that ms used to release a new os every 2/3 years, its only because vista was redesigned (due to all the big security holes in xp) that it took a lot longer to appear.

I've already said in another thread that IMO it will RTM late 2009 with a launch to retail in January 2010.

well I feel that I dont think Windows 7 would release in 2009 its too hurry that would be mess... think it between 2010-2012 cos MS may delay and redesign,etc.. usual take it time before it ready... if it too hurry then it mess like too much problems with hardware drivers,etc.. Windows 7 will ship out with 32bits and 64bits but 32bits will be the last one cos Microsoft want to move to 64bits only for next Windows OS after Windows 7...

Whats with the stupid touch screen piano? Dont know about most people but if I wanted to play a Piano I would want the real thing.

I hope it is that soon. People complain about the price but are happy to waste money on anti virus at like £20 a year. Even retail Vista is a great deal for a 3 year life span.
