Does anybody know of a good place to buy Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Retail?

I've looked on Overclockers and they only sell the OEM version but I'm wanting to buy the Retail version instead in case I want to install it on another motherboard that I may purchase at some point in the future.

I'm not sure where to go really and what the situation is with Windows 7 at the moment, I don't want Windows 8 I don't like it.

I bought a retail key online for £40 a few weeks back, I'll try and find the site and send you a link in a private message :)

Beware buying cheap keys , most are MSDN keys being resold to lots of people

In a month or two it will stop working

You haven't set up your trust yet mate and I can't link as it's a competitor :)

Not bothered then. Going back to the first post, I want the retail Windows 7. Where can I get it? That was my original question. I want to buy the original product not "cheat" something that is just the same as buying say a Motherboard or a Graphics Card.

Plenty on the bay, just search.

Difficult to trust the bay sometimes for this kind of thing. You simply aren't sure what you're getting from some people and it might be dodgy. I mean if a key has already been registered and then sold on it's a bit iffy. I would rather buy from somewhere like Overlockers, CCL or Scan an official company where you know what you're getting. Shame but I can't seem to find the Retail version for sale anymore is this because of the fact that Microsoft have officially stopped producing this product?

Not too sure buddy, I was lucky that my dad had windows 7 ultimate so I used his cd and bought a retail key. If you don't have a cd, you can download the official ISO for windows 7 and buy the key like I did, if you have no luck finding a copy. Ideally you want a sealed copy, that will set you back over £100 most likely.

I've already got a CD, I bought it a while ago because I wanted the OEM version for my older machine. It's all very well having the disc but I need a retail key (a genuine one) so I can use it on any motherboard that I want just as long as it's only installed at one time. My OEM version key that I bought I've already used it on my older machine's board so it belongs on there now, it's registered to that build. To be honest I wish I would have bought the Retail version of Win7 64-bit Ultimate when it was available on Overclockers website and then I could have put it on my new machine that I'm in the process of putting together.

Doesn't matter now. Was looking on ebay at the prices, about £245 for retail Yikes! Not spending that much...

Decided to go the cheaper option, I've bought the OEM instead. The End.
