Windows 7 update question

I keep getting this constantly for updating even though I have done it :

Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538242)

It comes up every time I turn the pc on and updates everytime I close down my pc I dont know how to get rid of it can anyone help please?

How are you installing this through Windows Update? Is Windows asking you to install it or have you gone to the Windows Update menu and started an install yourself?

You could try a manual install or try this link for a new update.
