windows 7 update stuck in a loop..help!

Hi guys

I recently updated windows 7 and now every time I restart the pc it comes up with configuring/installing updates 0% complete prompt and that stays on for atleast 5 mins before loading windows. It doesn't seem to have installed the updates either cause it tries to install them every time the pc shuts down.

It seems to be stuck in a loop. Has anyone come across this before?

thanks guys, I've found the culprit..its abobe installer (surprise surprise!!) turned it off via msconfig and problem solved !

how do i access install manager?

Let the install boot fail. Then go to install manager and one at a time install the updates. Once they are all installed then select reboot. That seems to have worked for me.
