windows 7 update voucher?

This is from the OEM version of Vista HP with Windows 7 upgrade voucher I built for one of my customers last week.

Thanks malachi.My wife brought a laptop today with vista home premium installed,and it didn't have the voucher with it,so back to the shop tomorrow!

How do the upgrade vouchers work anyway, since we're getting the E versions of Windows 7 and not upgrade.

Hmm, My Dad recently bought Vista Ultimate in a certain retail store as he knew the fact he'd get a free Windows 7 when it came out. They said he must just go back into the shop on Oct 22nd and they'll give him a copy of Windows 7 providing he brings the Vista Ultimate box/receipt.

I'll tell him to get a voucher just in case.

From what I read, you go to the website, enter the code and personal details and you get the full retail shipped out to you on release.
