Windows 7 updates failing

Just wondering if anyone has had the same issues as I am having? I had windows updates fail for a week or two, finally got the 2 installed seperately in standalone, but now have about 5 more queueing up and failing on every system start, whihc then restarts the pc and loads into windows fine as it has "abandoned" for that session.

Is there any fix/patch(Not another one!) to help with this, or do I really need to install one standalone, restart over and over for now?

I ahd this problem with vista last year. Turned out I had a bad ram stick.

hmm, strange, not had any other issues at all, doing them 1 by 1 in indows now and restarting when asked, and it all seems to be going fine, t'is a strange one!
