Windows 7 Upgrade Edition

I have a Vista OEM license key which I got when I bought my laptop from Acer. However, the laptop is formatted and does not have an OS on it at the moment. Can I install Windows 7 Upgrade Edition on the laptop without having to reinstall Vista in between?

Yep, you may be asked at some point to insert your vista disk however or at least to type you vista key in.
