windows 7 upgrade help?

hi

sorry if this has been asked before, but here goes... i have a laptop with windows vista premium 32bit , i would like to upgrade to windows 7 but im unsure what version and if i should upgrade or get the full clean install version?

i think i would be best off with windows 7 premium but should i just get the upgrade disc also 32bit or 64bit?

Personally I would get the Win 7 Premium Retail version which comes with both 32bit and 64bit discs and you can install again and again on the same computer when upgrading hardware. Worth the extra in my opinion.

thats what i was thinking but how would i know which 32bit or 64bit to choose?

Assuming you mean whether to go 32bit or 64bit. Go with 64bit as its 32bit compatible and as previously stated if you upgrade or buy a different computer you can install Win 7 Premium Retail on your new one provided you uninstall from the previous computer\laptop.

Get the retail version, it's daft not to at current prices.
