windows 7 upgrade option help

Good evening,

I have just taken delivery of a new PC with Vista Pro together with the upgrade to windows 7 option..However when I choose the location of UK it tells me wondows 7 is not releasaed until the end of August??
Any help would be great

Also I presume windows 7 is better than Vista?

Windows 7 has just been Released To Manufacturing (RTM). More information about this can be found here. However, Windows 7 won't be released to the general public until the 22nd of October. So I am afraid you will have to wait until then till you can change from Windows Vista to Windows 7.

Regarding your question about Windows 7 being better than Windows Vista, this will be completely subjective. However, the vast majority of people would agree that Windows 7 is in one way or another an upgrade from Windows Vista.
