Windows 7 upgrade

If you want W7 to operate on the new drive, then yes, you'll have to install it again.

I'm sure theres some sort of software that copies an image of your drive and you just put it onto another one. Not really looked into that though.
 
If you've got the upgrade version of Win7, then you most likely need to install Vista beforehand.

Or you could just create an image from your current hdd and copy it to the new one as mentioned before.
