Windows 7 upgrade???

Just about to purchase a new pc. What's the cheapest way to get LEGIT win 7 x64

I'm confused about the upgrade. Atm I have a existing oem mesh pc running vista. But I want to get a whole new pc, I find the prices for win 7 cheaper as a student but only for upgrade versions. Can these be put on a clean pc?

Yes you can do a clean install with an upgrade disk

The upgrade disk officially only runs from an existing Windows install and you should own a previous full copy of Windows to use it.

I suspect we're not supposed to say any more here.

I you use a upgrade disc, use this method below, and have your product key from your previous version hand, for the second time around,
