Windows 7 & upgrading question

Hi

I have bought some new components (mobo/cpu/gpu etc)

I already have an original win7 pro disc, but as my old pc will become redundant do I still need to purchase another copy of win 7?

Or can I just use the one I already have?

Thanks for any help / info as I don't really want to shell out another 3120 on a new os disc

If it was retail then you don't need to just reinstall and reactivate.

If it was OEM then offically you need a new license; practically there's nothing stopping you doing the same as above.
